GTX 970 Black EXOC Sniper Edition 的核心時脈為 1178/1329MHz，與公版相較已經是超頻12%左右，手上這張經測試大概還可以往上加110MHz，1288/1439MHz過測3DMark，核心時脈比HOF名人堂預設1228/1380MHz還要高出一些。括弧後面為預設成績。

顯卡最主要的任務就是幫助遊戲執行順暢，在今天顯示卡的地位甚至不比 CPU 低，強大的 CPU 年年都有，但強悍又具備性價比的 GPU 卻是鳳毛麟角。提到GTX 970，除了性能表現與 GTX 980 Ti 相差甚少，幾乎與之比肩，但GTX 970確有個驚人的定價，令他有高階卡的實力，卻有著低至中高階卡的價位。目前可以說沒有 GTX 970 跑不了的遊戲，若是 GTX 970 辦不到的事，恐怕得請出兩張 GTX 980 Ti 才有辦法解決。

Galax 這款 GeForce GTX 970 Black EXOC Sniper Edition 顯示卡，如其名採用了 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 顯示晶片，是從 Galax GeForce GTX 970 Black EXOC Edition 修改而來，雖然外觀極為相似，但是更改散熱器設計、新加入 LED 燈號裝飾，此外也調高運作時脈。
